This Privacy Policy explains how Shared Context Lab ("Cue," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information in connection with Cue websites, applications, messaging services, software, integrations, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
2. Personal Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of personal information:
- Contact and account information, such as name, email address, phone number, login credentials, authentication codes, and communication preferences.
- User content, such as messages, notes, memories, files, images, calendar data, reminders, and other information you provide to or make available through the Service.
- Integration data from services you connect to Cue, such as email, calendar, contacts, messaging, reminders, and other third-party services.
- Payment and transaction information, where applicable. Payment card details may be processed by our payment processors.
- Usage, device, and analytics information, such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, features used, diagnostics, logs, and approximate location.
- Support and feedback information, including communications you send to us.
3. Sources of Information
We collect personal information directly from you, automatically when you use the Service, from third-party services you connect or authorize, from service providers, and from other users where their content includes information about you.
4. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:
- provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
- create and manage accounts, authentication, and support;
- personalize Cue and generate relevant responses, reminders, and suggestions;
- process payments and administer subscriptions, where applicable;
- communicate with you about the Service, including service, security, and support messages;
- analyze usage, diagnose issues, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms;
- comply with legal obligations and protect rights, safety, and security; and
- use information for any other purpose you authorize or direct.
5. AI Processing
Cue uses artificial intelligence systems to provide the Service. We may process user content and integration data to generate responses, extract context, create memories, and improve product quality. To provide transparency to end users, some AI features use models that are hosted and operated by Cue or our infrastructure providers. Other AI features may use third-party AI providers, including OpenAI, through their application programming interfaces. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your private user content to train third-party foundation models unless you authorize that use or we state otherwise in a separate notice.
6. Google Workspace API Data
The use of raw or derived user data received from Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7. Disclosure of Personal Information
We may disclose personal information:
- to vendors and service providers who process information on our behalf;
- to third-party services you connect to or direct us to use;
- to payment processors, infrastructure providers, analytics providers, and customer support tools;
- to comply with law, legal process, or governmental requests;
- to protect the rights, property, safety, and security of Cue, users, or others;
- in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets;
- with your consent or at your direction; and
- in aggregated or de-identified form that does not reasonably identify you.
Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties for their own marketing, except for providers that help deliver messaging services.
8. Cookies and Analytics
We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, SDKs, logs, and similar technologies to operate the Service, remember preferences, understand usage, improve performance, and measure communications. You can manage certain technologies through browser or device settings, though some features may not function properly if disabled.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of certain personal information. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
